Fundraisers Everyone Listening Can Support

Fundraiser: Supporting better photography for shelter pets with ongoing sales

Organization to Benefit: HeARTs Speak

Details: These adorable, and super-comfy t-shirts (see my selfie in show art =P the doggie with the camera) are only $25! They do run small so I’d recommend you go 1 size larger than usual. They are brand new from HeARTs Speak and many members did some extensive research in comfort, shrinkage (there is none!), and overall quality of all the t-shirts they tested before choosing this one.

Also from HeARTs Speak, as I’ve mentioned before, the Shelter Photography Field Guide is great to donate to your shelter so that volunteers can learn how to get better first impressions for the animals! Amazing visual guide, with durable binding and pages that are perfect for the shelter environment! Only $20!

Fundraiser: Petco Foundation Calendar

Organization to Benefit: Petco Foundation

Details:  This year I was so excited to be a part in the making of this calendar! For the first time ever, the Petco Foundation decided to hire professional photographers for this project, and HeARTs Speak helped them out with their own pet photographer members across the country. Petco managers had the chance to enter a contest and the winners got to have their pet featured in the 2016 calendar.

I got to meet a rescued kitty named Meep, and he was such a beautiful mush! It’s not available yet but I’ll post the link as soon as it’s available!

Fundraiser: Hunks and Hounds Calendar

Organization to Benefit: Louie’s Legacy

Details: Mike Ruiz Photography teamed up with two hunky models and two adorable pups to create two adorably sexy calendars for 2016. You can preorder them now right here: http://www.louieslegacy.org/hunksandhounds2016/ Get 1 for $19.95 or get both calendars for the discounted rate of $34.95.

Fundraiser: Rescue Dog Calendar and Rescue Cat Calendar

Organization to Benefit: Pawsitive Alliance

Details: Lara Grauer Photography has 2 calendars, so if you’re a more of a dog person than cat person or more of a cat person than dog person you can pick your favorite. I have the cover images of last year’s calendars so you can get a feel for what’s coming! Preorder them right here.

Fundraiser: Pin Ups with Dogs Calendar

Organization to Benefit: Hand-In-Paw Rescue

Details: EM Dash Photography features pin-up style photography and adds some rescue dogs into the mix. What’s not to love?! As soon as this calendar is available I’ll add the link here.

Hand-In-Paw Rescue is also working on renovating and repairing their new boarding facility in order to support more rescue efforts and they’ve created a GoFundMe page to collect donations.

Fundraiser: Get a calendar made for your rescue

Organization to Benefit: YOURS

Details: So nobody submitted this idea, but if you don’t have a calendar for your favorite rescue you could buy a template for just $15 on Etsy and add in your own photos. So send an email out to staff and volunteers, pick your favorite photos, and pop them into a template.

I have a really cute calendar template from another HeARTs Speak photographer, Ana Deshpande. You just have to use Photoshop to edit it. You can totally brand it to your rescue too, by adding in your own logos etc. Grab the calendar template on Etsy.

If you don’t have Photoshop just do a search and find a template that’s easier to work with.

I’m going to be doing my own annual calendar very soon and if you’re on my email lists, for either My Rescue Rocks or Reflective Photos Fine Art, you’ll get a free download to print out as soon as it’s ready.
