Back when this podcast was nothing more than a daydream I came across an article about a man who had rescued thousands of dogs. By taking a nearly week-long trip that spans 4,200 miles, from Ohio, down into Texas, and then back up towards the northeastern states, this guy has racked up well over one million miles of rescue transportation.

He makes the trip every other week, picking up dogs along dozens of stops in the deep south, many who were almost certainly facing death, and delivering them to the arms of eager forever families along the route back home.

This is the story of Greg Mahle and how he first hit the pavement with Rescue Road Trips… listen in to get the whole story.
