Falling for Fosters: Mick’s Love Affair with Kittens
Guess what?! Today, we’re finally bringing cats back on the show… I hope I didn’t lose all you cat lovers out there with an overdose of dog… yeah right, that’s not even possible is it? There’s no such thing as too much dog!
And if it weren’t for my brief time fostering for Karuna Bully rescue, which, as you may remember, is the pit bull rescue I got Gracie from, if it weren’t for Karuna Bully, I never would have had the opportunity to chat with today’s guest. Mick Teti-Beaudin was a fellow volunteer at the rescue, and… Listen’s to Mick’s story…
Q&U: 50 Ways to Help Rescue More Animals
I originally set out to come up with 101 ways to help rescue pets, but after several months my mind was coming up blank, so when I finally hit 50, I figured it’s better than nothing. A list of 50 ideas can’t help animals at all when it’s sitting all alone in my notebook, so I thought maybe you can help me grow it! Listen to all 50 ideas now!
Saving a Muttley Crew with Britany Felix
Our guest for today’s show has a personal history that I can really relate to. Nearly everyone I’ve interviewed so far has seemed to have been born a rescuer, there was never anyone who shared their “before-I-got-into-rescue” stories, there never even seems to be a “before.” I don’t know, maybe I’m just not asking the right questions… Listen in to another rescue story now
Q&U: The Crazy Things We do to Spoil Our Rescue Pets
Another question for, you, my crazy rescue friends. And when I say “crazy” I don’t mean you or I would think it’s crazy, but maybe your non-pet-obsessed friends think it’s a little over the top.

One Million Miles to Freedom w/ Greg Mahle
Back when this podcast was nothing more than a daydream I came across an article about a man who had rescued thousands of dogs. By taking a nearly week-long trip that spans 4,200 miles, from Ohio, down into Texas, and then back up towards the northeastern states, this guy has racked up well over one million miles of rescue transportation.
He makes the trip every other week, picking up dogs along dozens of stops in the deep south, many who were almost certainly facing death, and delivering them to the arms of eager forever families along the route back home.
This is the story of Greg Mahle and how he first hit the pavement with Rescue Road Trips… listen in to get the whole story.
Q&U: Why We Love Our Rescue Pets
Sometimes the best resource is love! Might sound cheesy but it’s true. That’s really the only resource we all shared in this episode, but isn’t that enough?
This episode features listener submitted mini stories that… Listen in now
Tornado of Love: How Goofy Found his Furever Friends
I was absolutely thrilled to get an email from my new rescue friend Amber Mosley, and I was even more thrilled when she agreed to come on the show and share some more details about her amazing story.
On the night of April 27th, 2014 a ½ mile-wide tornado ripped through the small town of Mayflower, Arkansas and displaced over 100 pets… listen in to get the rest of this story.
Q&U Your Rescue Pets’ Favorite Words
This is another one of those fun-filled episodes where I got to talk all about your pets’ quirks! Our pets really do understand so much of what we say, and I loved learning your dogs’ and cats’ favorite expressions and why.
I know that you know how to get those tails wagging and those ears perked, and I bet…
Piper Doe: A Modern Day Fairy Tale
Piper’s real life rescue could have been the first few pages of a story book… but let’s go back further than that… let’s go back to Rob’s first memories of being involved in rescue as a child…
Q&U Favorite Books & Movies Staring a Rescue Pet
The Q: What’s Your Favorite Movie or Book that Stars a Rescue Pet?
I truly believe that stories can change lives, and there are a ton more stories out there that I’ve never heard of, which is why I put this question out there. I’ve added a bunch of these to my list and I’m excited to dig in.
Below, I’ve listed all of your submissions…
